What is the GoughClan?

The GoughClan in its simplest distillation is that universe of people who agree with me. Membership in the clan is in constant flux, since the only person in the universe who agrees with me 100% of the time is me. Others may enter and leave the clan as their personal opinions dictate.

How do I join the GoughClan?

Agree with me. Membership is entirely voluntary. There is no limit on how many times you may join the clan.

How do I leave the GoughClan?

Disagree with me. There is no limit on how often you may leave the clan.

Is the GoughClan the perfect embodiment of truth?

Those outside the clan shout no, usually while stamping their foot, shaking their fist, or impersonating rabid animals. Those in the clan know that only God holds the perfect embodiment of truth.

Why GoughClan?

I’m Irish. Or, rather, part Irish. Like most Americans, I am a wonderful blend of genealogies.

gawfclan, but GoughClan looks much cooler.

What do you talk about?

Whatever interests me. Usually politics, culture and religion. What interests me is often the untold story within a story, or a story whose main point is not what the author thinks it is. I correct him.
